Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
